⚜Start Here

- Install Java 11 — we recommend Amazon Corretto 11 (free). The self-updating launcher handles the rest.
- Register an account on the register page and verify your email.
- Launch & sign in, choose a game mode, and step into the world.

::home— shops, skilling, and the bank are all here. - Set your XP rate / mode at the start, then start a low-level Slayer task for combat XP and early gp.
- Vote with
::votefor points and rewards, and join the Discord.
📱Juniper Mobile
Play Juniper on Android with a native build of our real desktop client — same game, same account, in your pocket. Grab it from the Download page (Android card).
How it works
Juniper Mobile is a native Android build of our actual desktop client. I didn't rebuild the game — I took the real injected client and made it run on Android by writing Android-native replacements for the desktop libraries it expects: graphics through a ported java.awt layer (with the native color-management code compiled via the NDK), and sound through Android's own audio system.
Then I bridged input and display — the client renders its frame and I blit it to the screen, and I translate touches into mouse/keyboard events: tap to click, long-press to right-click, pinch to zoom, drag to move the camera. Anything that's normally a RuneLite plugin I reimplement natively, since there's no plugin layer on mobile.
Touch controls
- Tap — left click
- Long-press — right click
- Pinch — zoom in / out
- Drag — move the camera
Installing
Download the APK from the Download page and open it. If you see a Play Protect warning, tap More details → Install anyway — that's the normal one-tap step for any app installed outside the Play Store. You may also need to allow your browser to "Install unknown apps" the first time.
🛡Game Modes
Juniper has seven game modes. Pick when you create your character — your mode shows as a crown in-game and a tab on the Hiscores.

XP rates & modifiers
Pick an XP rate at character creation. Lower rates trade slower levelling for a higher drop-rate boost, so the grindier modes are rewarded with better loot luck. Donators and active events stack additional XP on top. Lock or check XP with ::xplock and ::tlvl.
| Rate | Skilling XP | Combat XP | Drop-rate boost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 25× | 500× | +0% | Fastest levelling — best for casual play. |
| Regular | 25× | 125× | +3% | Balanced pace with a small loot bonus. |
| Hard | 25× | 40× | +5% | Slow grind, stronger drop luck. |
| Realism | 5× | 5× | +10% | Locked to the Realism game mode — the most authentic OSRS-like rates and the highest drop-rate boost. |
🐉Bosses
The full OSRS boss roster, from beginner kills to endgame gods. Track kill counts on the Hiscores Bosses tab.
God Wars Dungeon::wikidrops for exact rates.::wikidrops for exact rates. All four Desert Treasure II bosses are instanced — reach them via the boss Teleport Manager. Check the in-game Drop Viewer / ::wikidrops for the exact vestige, rates, and full loot tables.

🏅Achievement Diaries
Juniper's twelve Achievement Diaries are fully custom-themed — every classic region diary has been rebuilt around a Juniper play-style, each with Easy, Medium, Hard and Elite tiers. Completing tiers awards classic diary reward gear (cloaks, shields, amulets, rings and more), and finishing the set unlocks the Achievement Cape. Open them from the Achievements panel in-game — PvM diaries tick up as you get kills, while skilling and collection diaries refresh when you open the panel.
| Diary | What it tracks | Reward gear |
|---|---|---|
| Slayer | Slayer tasks & monster kills | Karamja gloves 1–4 |
| Boss Hunter | Boss kill-counts | Ardougne cloak 1–4 |
| Raider | Raids & minigames | Falador shield 1–4 |
| Fire & Fury | Combat & PvM feats | Fremennik sea boots 1–4 |
| Wilderness | Wilderness activity | Kandarin headgear 1–4 |
| Gathering | Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Farming, Hunter | Desert amulet 1–4 |
| Artisan | Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Cooking, Herblore | Explorer's ring 1–4 |
| Wayfarer | Agility, Thieving, Runecrafting, Firemaking, Slayer | Morytania legs 1–4 |
| Green Thumb | Farming, Construction, Herblore & total level | Varrock armour 1–4 |

| Collector | Collection log slots filled | Rada's blessing 1–4 |
| Prestige | Total level & 200M-XP goals (required for the Achievement Cape) | Wilderness sword 1–4 |
Reward gear is drawn from the classic diary reward pool as you complete tiers. The Achievement Cape is earned by completing every diary at Elite, including Prestige.

Low-level Turael/Mazchna tasks — chickens, cows, rats, goblins, bats and the like — are found around the starter and training areas rather than a dedicated slayer dungeon.

Daily tasks
Open your daily tasks with ::dailies — it goes straight to your task list. Tasks come in four tiers — Easy, Medium, Hard and Elite — and reset every 24 hours. Each completion awards a perk-point bonus (more for higher tiers) plus an item reward. Every target is reachable from the in-game Teleport menu (::teles); the higher tiers simply ask for more kills of the same targets.

Rotating events fire automatically throughout the day — no sign-up needed, just show up.
⚔ Chambers of Xeric — drop rates
Each completed raid rolls for up to 3 unique drops. The unique chance is 1% per 6,500 points earned (more generous than live OSRS's 1 per 8,675), and the lucky recipient is weighted by point contribution. Bi-hourly Chambers events add a further +5%. When a unique lands, it's pulled from this table:
| Unique | Chance per unique |
|---|---|
| Dexterous prayer scroll | 29.0% |
| Arcane prayer scroll | 29.0% |
| Twisted buckler | 5.8% |
| Dragon hunter crossbow | 5.8% |
| Dinh's bulwark | 4.3% |
| Ancestral hat | 4.3% |
| Ancestral robe top | 4.3% |
| Ancestral robe bottom | 4.3% |
| Dragon claws | 4.3% |
| Elder maul | 2.9% |
| Kodai insignia | 2.9% |
| Twisted bow | 2.9% |
🩸 Theatre of Blood — drop rates
A clean, death-free raid has an 11.11% unique chance, shared across the team. Deaths lower it — 10.25% (1 death), 9% (2), 7.62% (3), 5.45% (4), 5% (5), and none at 6+ — while active raid-boost events double it. Uniques roll from this table:
| Unique | Chance per unique |
|---|---|
| Avernic defender hilt | 30.1% |
| Ghrazi rapier | 8.6% |
| Sanguinesti staff | 8.6% |
| Justiciar faceguard | 8.6% |
| Justiciar chestguard | 8.6% |
| Justiciar legguards | 8.6% |
| Masori mask | 6.5% |
| Masori body | 6.5% |
| Masori chaps | 6.5% |
| Scythe of Vitur | 4.3% |
| Tumeken's shadow (uncharged) | 3.2% |
Each raid also has a separate 4% tertiary roll: Elite clue scroll (91.7%), Holy ornament kit (4.6%), Sanguine ornament kit (2.8%), or Sanguine dust (0.9%). The Lil' Zik pet drops at 1/500 per completion (≈1/375 with an active pet-drop bonus).
Percentages above are each item's share of its raid's unique table. Your odds of a unique per raid are the raid's unique chance; the table then decides which item.
🏺 Tombs of Amascut — drop rates
Solo raiders pick a difficulty at the entrance door; parties choose at the obelisk. Your tier sets the unique ("purple") chance: Normal 1/20, Hard 1/13, Insanity 1/8 — and it stacks with harder boss HP and damage. In group raids your contribution scales your own roll, so pulling your weight matters. When a unique lands, it's pulled from this table:
| Unique | Chance per unique |
|---|---|
| Osmumten's fang | 19.2% |
| Lightbearer | 19.2% |
| Masori mask | 15.4% |
| Masori body | 15.4% |
| Masori chaps | 15.4% |
| Elidinis' ward (f) | 11.5% |
| Tumeken's shadow (uncharged) | 3.8% |
Every completion also rolls a separate 1/25 Elite clue scroll and a shot at the Tumeken's guardian pet — 1/1,500 on Normal, 1/1,200 on Hard, and 1/900 on Insanity. Non-unique runs pay out common loot: coins, high-tier runes, raw sharks and manta ray, battlestaves, and herb seeds (ranarr through magic).

💎Donator Ranks & Perks
Juniper has seven donator ranks, based on your cumulative amount donated. Each tier stacks the perks of the one below it, and your rank is granted automatically when you purchase from the Store. Check your exact perks in-game with ::donatorperks.
Bank slots: every player starts with 1,000 slots. The totals above are your full bank size at that rank, not an amount added on top. Extra slots apply on your next login after ranking up, and losing a rank never removes items already stored.
Bonds give in-game donator-store tokens — 100 tokens per $10 — and don't count toward your donator rank.
⌨In-Game Commands
Type these in chat with a :: prefix. Run ::commands in-game for the live list. Vote and store rewards are delivered automatically — items drop into your inventory (or bank if it's full) within seconds of voting or purchasing. If a reward is ever left pending, run ::claim to collect it.

Every NPC's full drop table — with exact rates — is built into the client. In-game, right-click a monster and use the Drop Viewer, or type ::wikidrops. Below are the signature uniques for the marquee bosses.
For complete tables with drop rates on every monster, use the in-game Drop Viewer — it always reflects the current server.
✨Player Tips

::presetsto re-gear instantly after a death. - Set goals. Pick one milestone (Fire cape, a boss KC, a 99) and finish it before the next.
- Vote daily. Free points and rewards via
::vote— three toplists, 12-hour cooldowns. - Bank smart. Tag and organise your bank; presets save real time on every trip.
- Ask in Discord. Friendly community and boss-finding channels make group content easy.
❓Frequently Asked Questions
How do I start playing Juniper?
- Download the client from the Download page.
- Install Java 11 (Amazon Corretto).
- Register and verify your email.
- Launch, sign in, pick a game mode, and play.
Which game mode should I pick?
If you're new, start Standard — you can trade and use the Grand Exchange. Want a solo challenge? Try Ironman. See the Game Modes section for all seven.
Why do I need Java 11?
The custom RuneLite client is built on Java 11 — we recommend Amazon Corretto 11 (free). The self-updating launcher handles updates automatically.
How do the hiscores work?
Open the Hiscores. Filter by any of the seven game modes, browse skills and bosses, and click a name for a full breakdown. Stats sync a few minutes after login and on logout.
How do I vote and earn rewards?
Go to the Vote page or type ::vote. Each confirmed vote credits points and in-game tickets — spend points in the Vote Shop.
What happens if I die as Hardcore Ironman?
You lose Hardcore status and become a regular Ironman — character, levels, and items stay, but the Hardcore badge is gone for good. It happens immediately on death.
Is Juniper free to play?
Completely. The optional Store sells donator ranks and convenience perks that fund the server — they never gate content.
I found a bug or got stuck — what do I do?
Open a ticket on the Support page with your username and details, or ask in Discord.
